Slumdog Millionaire

I have never been more disappointed in a Academy Awards show then I was in this one. Sitting their filling out my pool only to throw it out about half way through the award show. I completely lost to a individual who hadn't seen any movies that were nominated. For a movie that wasnt up to normal Oscar standards Slumdog took home 8. It wasnt that the film was terrible or anything it was that the individuals were able to win in catagories that they shouldnt have based on how well the movie did in award shows. Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Song come on, the people who selected it couldnt understand the song already and it was able to beat the orchestra of Walle?
The same individual who was asked to play at the grammys the biggest singing award show. Now I dont discriminate on the race or the languages used in the movie but I really thought since they won a lot of awards they were basically given them away to Slumdog Millionaire toward the end. Some of the Oscars brought out the best when we saw best supporting actor goto Heath Ledger one that he would have been nominated for but possibly wouldnt have won if he was still living. In addition even though I wanted Mickey Rourke to make a comeback and take home the Oscar for best actor I have always been a fan of Sean Penn and congradulations to him he did do a awesome job prepareing for that roll.
